A new hope.

I woke up at around 11.45 today. First thing first, I went online immediately to check my appeal results. It says, "We regret to inform you that after careful consideration, your appeal was deemed unsuccessful. We wish you all the best in your future education endeavors." Something like that, couldn't remember exactly. Damnit, there was only one thing left to do, to go straight to the big office itself. Hell yea. Finishing my morning ablutions, I rushed outta mah home, preparing my 'Begging' speech. Upon reaching, I was directed to some HOD guy. He seemed pretty reluctant about the whole 'letting another student in' thingy, so like the man I am, I brought out my secret weapon. I used my sad story of a close friend with same score getting in, and I'm stranded, alone. Ironies FTW, bitch. No doubt he leaked a flush of sympatheticism on his face. "I'll go check with my colleague, hold on eh.'

"Sure."



So he came back, and it turns out the reason my appeal wasn't successful, was because of choir. As I appealed through Academic and Choir, when my choir auditions failed, they automatically cancelled out my name. If I had not went to speak to him, this would not have been uncovered. Well, I'll be damned. I wonder how many students have gone through the same thing as me, being posted to another school because they were just lazy to double-check. One more thing, when I told him I had Mrs Neo to write a letter of recommendation for me, he replied sheepishly, "Well, we don't really read the letter of recommendation." Omg, Owned. So after filling in a few documents and choosing my Subject com, I was a proud student of Tampines Junior College. Kewl. And I had already made a friend!
