1st January 2010. I still can't believe 2009 just sped past like that. A whole year 0f 365 days just didn't felt as long as it should.
Well, speaking of 2009, it was definitely a year filled unlike any other. (Duh) I mean, the whole new experience of going JC/hell was rather uhm.....lets just say I didn't really expect myself to even survive the first year. Then again, it is after all TPJC, and not those 1337 JCs like VJC or TJC or even MJC for that matter. Nevertheless, I'm sure JC2 will be much more of a motherfucker than its former counterpart. In fact, school starts in 11 days, I have tests for almost all subjects when sch reopens and I am merely inching closer to starting my work. FML.
So 2009. Wow. Just went past like that. Made a lot of friends, lost a couple maybe... Perhaps its my current blocked nose I'm having that makes me not wanna summarize the whole year. (Or maybe its my laziness, but they're all the same) In recent events, my friend has interviewed me on whether I have any views on Sezairi (is that right?) winning the Singapore Idol and not Sylvia. Well, considering when I typed 'Sezairi' in blogger is was underlined red - wrong spelling, but when I typed 'Sylvia' nothing happens, I can say even blogger knows whats best.
On a serious note, I feel that the reason that guy can win is totally because of all his fangirls that are rich/stupid enough to spend loads of money on him. His parents prolly also invested a good sum of money into his votes, which I'm sure that's what Duane's parents did, and that's how he made it so far. But it's a sad world we life in, and sadly to be an Idol in this world you just have to got the looks. So Duane, parents money can only take you so far huh.
The major flaw I find, in Singapore Idol is that the Producer of the show (or was it the govt?) is greedy enough to put a price on every vote. I mean come on! If you want people to vote, then why bother trying to make a profit on it. Its kinda retarded don't you think. It's not our fault that us guys aren't stupid enough to waste money to vote for the people we like. I feel SI should try and emulate American Idol by making voting free. In that way, the voting is fair and just as everyone regardless of whatever-shit-I-lazy-to-think can also vote. Then, THEN we may finally not have another malay dude who can(t) sing winning the SI.
And I also 'support' Sylvia just coz shes a female and I wanna see if she can become the combo breaker of the long lines of malay guys winning SI.

On a side note, I've watched a few good movies recently, most notably Avatar of course and BodyGuards n Assassins wasn't that bad at all too. Intending to watch Sherlock Holmes also leh but then sigh no money sia.
Speaking of money reminds me of a major major event in 2010. Paramore.
Yes. You heard me. Paramore. The fucking Paramore is fucking come fucking Singapore and I am so fucking excited. 7th March 2010. The tickets are also so cheap! 108 nia! omfg.
Need to save money quickly sia. I scared tickets run out before I can save enough money.
Whooaaaa shit. Just imagining Hayley Williams singing a few meters away from me can make my head swivel round and put me in a sheepish trance mode. Lol. But seriously, siao lah. Cannot accept the fact that after so long of wait they are finally coming. As a form of mini-celebration I decided to custom my L4D2 spray into her picture and well other than having Weilong shooting it all the time I think it looks great.
P.S I am totally addicted to Fringe and I can't stop watching it. Downloaded the whole season 1 finished it yesterday. Downloaded season 2 ep 1-10 and now I'm at ep 3. :p
