Life's always good after exams. However it starts to turn shitty when the results starts pouring in. But let's not get there. That shall wait to tomorrow or something.
Right now it's still post exam celebration. And I reckon it shall remain that way until the next pre-exam mugging period.
Anyways, went out with some frens to eat Hei Sushi at downtown the other day, which was the last day of exam. Yeah and even though it was a sister-branch of Sakae Sushi, which itself isn't that good, the service at Hei Sushi was even worse. What happened was that we were given this 1.5 hrs to eat all you can buffet kind of thingy, and since the food from the conveyor belt was boring we decided to order more food from the menu.
Turns out we were also the only ones in the diner at that time, and therefore it only makes sense that the food comes fast right?
Hell no.
We ended up waiting almost 45 min just for simple orders like fried tofu to arrive. Wtf seriously. I think their intention was to delay the serving of the food until like the 89th min so that by the time the food arrive we will not be able to finish in time and have to leave. Lol.
And the food wasn't even good.
Sigh.
Moving on, we decided to catch a movie before going home and evryone kinda like decided on watching Whip It!. I agreed too, even though I alr had downloaded the movie onto my drive but hey, its Ellen Page we're talking about here. Shes cool and cute. So yeah I guess I don't mind paying 7 bucks to see her on the big screen.
Which I'm glad I did coz the movie rocked. It had this sorta like really indie feel to it that idk, I can't really explain. Somehow, if you ask me if I preferred Avatar or this, I would say this. The acting was good, the plot was good and there's a good blend of humor, action and romance. Even though it got pulled in America, I would say its prolly due to bad advertising and people's lack of confidence in Drew Barrymore's directorial skills as it was her debut as a director. Personally I say she did a great job but hey, that's just my 2 cents.
And mostly because Ellen Page is in it too. Lol.
So yeah I have just been really spending loads of time on the computer lately, watching more Starcraft 2 gameplay commentaries and well basically just checking out the awesome game. Can't wait till I get my hands on it but since only Beta is released so far and knowing Blizzard, I reckon it'll be another good year (no, not the tyres) before the official game is released.
My new games NFS shift and Battlefield Bad Company 2 just didn't satisfy my thirst. Okay Bad Company 2 was not bad since the plot was actually pretty darn good and I would like to think it's comparable to that of Modern Warfare 2.
Perhaps that's why I have been turning to Left4Dead2 a lot lately. And I mean A LOT.
Like played 3 matches on Fri night till 3 am, and then another 3 matches last night till 4am. Ended up sleeping at 5 am but hey I still woke up at 12 pm which is pretty good considering I slept so late, or early, whatever.
Well that just about sums up my post exams relaxation, pretty boring since most of the stuff are indoor activities like gaming and shit. Really don't mind going for a cycling+dinner trip at ECP but seems like no one is interested.
I also decided to save up money to buy myself a pair of good inline skates. The last time I owned inline skates there was Spiderman on it. And I'm not trying to imitate Whip it, although yes my interest was kinda re-ignited by the show but I'm serious about the Spiderman on my skates thing.
I also grew out of it since Secondary 1.
Ahh well, off to play more L4D2. Refuse to accept the fact that much homework has already been assigned to us through tpjc.net.
And NS medical check up on Tuesday. Kinda lazy to go but...
It's about damn time to skip school baby.
