You know I've been thinking, perhaps Twitter kinda killed the blogger in me.

Whenever I have these thoughts in my head I save them up and when the time is right, often when they're bursting at the seams, I pen them all down in one shot. Or rather type them for the case of blogging.

However Twitter has seemed to almost completely remove the need for that as now when I have a certain thing to say about my life or just anything in general I turn to Twitter and honestly, a tweet is so much more simpler than having to write up a post.

Also, it allows for you to get whatever's bugging you off your mind quickly as you tweet about it and then forget it ever happened. Blogging on the other hand requires time and effort (at least for me it does) and sometimes after dragging it for too long I forgot what I wanted to say and when I finally got reminded of it again I just whip out my phone and tweet about it.

In fact, I initially wanted to tweet this whole 'twitter and blogger' post. The first line, at least. Which is where advantages of Blogging show.

Obviously, one cannot write essays and tweet them. You probably could use the tweet longer application which my phone doesn't have but then again no one ever tweets an entire essay. The longest I've seen so far were the max long paragraphs.

Besides, it would take a lot of work to slowly type it on the phone compared to the computer keyboard.

My point, which I only just arrived at, is that Blogging encourages you to at least open up more and share more of what you feel. It enables you to get the entire story across and not just the general idea.

Also, blogging for me, is kinda more for my personal events since more people read my tweets rather than my blog on a regular basis. After all, they're all these lil' bite sized information that make for easy digestion, so I guess I'm not surprised.

And although I lock my Twitter, which means I can disallow the person whom I don't want prying into my life from following me, it is not such a simple thing to do. There are some friends who are really kay-poh and when they request to follow you, you really feel like ignoring their request and just let them die. Yet, they're after all your friends and you'll be seeing them at least every now and then. Therefore, it's easier to write my personal stuff in my blog rather than denying their request and have them probing me and annoyingly ask why am I not approving their request.

That said, my blog is not exactly safe too. I mean, I don't lock my Blog to selected readers and neither do I keep it in secrecy. (its link is on my twitter and Facebook profile page)

However, I have no qualms about it as the people who bother to read my blog are majority my close friends whom prolly know what I am talking about...most of the time.

Certain people who like I said, trying to be kay-poh would find their interests in my life dulling as they set foot here. And I'm not making this up. Someone once told me that my blog was boring and uninteresting and suggested I blog about more interesting stuff.

Well, can't please everyone can I?

And although I consider criticism to be advice, I had absolutely no idea what the person meant by 'interesting stuff'. To be honest, I felt my posts were interesting. Why else would I even blog about them in the first place. And seriously, it's my blog, hello? I don't live to please you, or anyone for that matter (except you, of course. but you don't read my blog so nvm) so why would I change my style to suit your taste.

Oh and for what it's worth,

"Bitch, you come to my blog you will read my posts the way I fucking write!"
- Adapted from Lafayette of True Blood.

Amazing character from a great show.

Still, I don't think I captured the intensity of the original line. To help you get the accurate idea of what I mean, I've embed the video of the scene here.

To those who have never watched the show and are wondering about his sexuality in the show, yes. Yes he is a homosexual.

And he's twice the man Justin Bieber will ever be.

Sometimes I'm amazed at how off topic I can manage to drift off.

What appears to be my first post of March about some Twitter and Blogging thing became a rant and now I'm promoting the show.

That's right, go watch True Blood if you haven't yet.

None of that vampire diaries bullshit. True blood has the more accurate portrayal of vamps. I'm sorry fans of Stefan and Damon, but Eric Northman will rape both of them upside down if they were ever to get into a fight. He's friggin' 1000 year old ffs.

Oh and Twilight is so 2007 for me. I was sec 3 then. Somehow it interested me. Yes, I still follow the movies but only to see how they bring the books to the big screen.

Anyway, it 5am right now and yet I don't feel sleepy. Prolly coz I slept from 11+ to 2+ just now after returning home from Aloysius's birthday celebration. Which leads me to 'I am number four'. The show which had great potential, yet a poor delivery. What could have been a great franchise was parred with weak plot (at least in the movie) and cheesy scenes. At least the action was satisfying and the girls were hot.

Okay maybe the movie wasn't that bad.

Sigh.

Results on Friday. Don't think I can sleep peacefully until the day arrives.

Shitttt..............
