Now I'm not saying I have confidence I can win the 4x100m. However, I feel it is better for me since I do seriously think I can sprint a 100m faster than that classmate, whereas he has the stamina for a 400m run.
But well, that's just my 2 cents.
And I feel pissed at myself since I feel like I could have done better for the 400m run. For some reason even though I was saving my energy for the final 100m sprint, when the final turn was finished, I tried really hard to sprint but I just could not find that energy to sprint.
I willed and I pushed, yet I was lagging behind. It was as if my legs just gave up.
What a letdown.
And the same thing happened to a fellow classmate too.
Sigh.
Well lets not talk about it anymore. Had Guitar Competition Rehearsal in the auditorium today. Even though I practice a lot at home, I feel like I am somehow stagnant in terms of accuracy and clarity.
Also, a common mistake of mine is that despite having memorized the pieces, I sometimes still 'jump' parts. Now that usually happens when I am playing along with the ensemble, but my mind slowly deviates from reality and starts dreaming off somewhere, allowing all my muscle memory to do the work.
Sadly, there were a couple of time where my muscle memory fails to remember the repeats, and move on to the next section of the piece instead, resulting in a blatantly different and resounding note emitting from my Guitar.
I really need to get my head in the game. Or the music for that matter.
Anyways, my results for the SA weren't up to my expectations at all. What disappointed me mostly was my Math and Bio. Math coz I actually fall back to the U region, which I thought I had so greatly conquered after achieving a B in promos.
Bio coz well, it was just not up to par. Got a D when I can be getting a C.
Now all my SA are last minute studying. I reckon that if I had put the one week holiday to better use, I might have scored much better.
And my chem was disgusting too. Another U grade to stain my report card.
Guess I really need a tuition right now.
Should I pick the one which costs $290 for 4 weeks, where the teacher is really good,
or the $288 for 8 weeks, which is from what I've heard, not bad too.
Either way, I'm already lagging badly. Gotta do something, fast.
Hayley help me.
