Birthday-Gasm [Part 2] Act I: The Quatro Convening.

Sup yall! Okay so since I'm getting pretty bored even with YouTube I decided I might as well come on Blogger and complete the Birthday-Gasm posts.

So, on Friday, 27 November, which of course is Jackson's birthday, there was a Birthday Celebration/BBQ at East Coast Park. For those who are wondering "HUH? Since when there is one?" Well, let's just say party's by invitation only eh?

So yeah I shall fast forward to the BBQ which kinda started around uhh... 7pm? Yeah. Actually I'm pretty sure it officially started at around 6 but at that time only Jackson Melissa and Yu Zhou were there. By seven pretty much everyone was present and then the caterer (who was late) came. Alas, since we didn't actually book at pit, but sorta like a bench, we had to buy a portable bbq pit from the caterer, which cost 23 bucks if I'm not wrong.

However, we got scammed by the bloody caterers since the box only came with the pit and not the stands. What is this, each sold separately? Damn lame can. Anyways, long story short, we used our innovation and in the end we were barbecuing with the pit lying on the stand. Works pretty well actually.

So we carried on with the BBQ, ya know, the usual hotdogs and wings... Speaking of chicken wings, I kinda missed the special marinated chicken wings I had at Mingyi's that time. That was by far one of the best BBQ-ed chicken wings hands down. Seriously the catered one pales in comparison.

After a couple of photos and some cups of Vodka-Cola cocktails, Cheryl, Pok Chow and Yu Zhou had to leave. Good things come to and end I guess... haha. Well now that we only have Jackson Melissa Jesper and I remaining, we kinda struggled to finish the food that the evil Pok Chow didn't chow down. Trust me it wasn't easy, and by the end of the day I think we consumed like thousands of calories and also tons of carcinogenic waste, which is a result of our epic BBQ-ing skillz. nice...

Now I can already picture Pok Chow (if he is reading this), to go "Walao eh! Damn fattening lah you all eat so much! I'm very disappointed with yall..." BUT no worries! For after food comes exercise. heheh....

After lepak-ing for like almost 2 hours to allow digestion to reach half Vmax, we decided that in order to survive the rest of the night, no not from vampires, but from sleep exhaustion. (Is that right?) We would have to get ourselves some caffeine. Surprisingly the caffeine in the coke isn't doing its magic.

Perhaps its just all in the head. You know, like only when you get coffee then you thing the caffeine works. Something like that.

Nevertheless, after some deliberation we decided to go for high quality coffee. Since there are no Starbucks around it was therefore out of the question. Consequently, our best bet would be McCafe coffee.

Arriving on a consensus, we cleared the trash and packed our bags, and the four of us headed into the direction of the nearest MacDonalds...
