Duped.

After 3 years and a few months, my $5.90 mic failed on me in the middle of a skype call with a friend.

I figured that after so long, it has finally fallen. Well, perhaps it's time to get a new one.

So earlier on in the evening I took a short cycling trip down to the local mall and bought myself a new pair of mic+headphones. It seemed like it was the best cheap mic around, and did not look bad aesthetically too.

Hence, I got myself a deal. Or so I thought.

Reaching home I immediately went to try it out, and to my disappointment I discovered the sound quality to be below expectations and the mic does not seem to be working.

After checking here and there, I realized it only does not work with skype, but works fine with msn. Jovi, you should find this part familiar ahahahah.....

But well yeah, after meddling around with the setting I fixed the problem and got the mic working, albeit it was abit too soft for my liking.

And I discovered, to my horror, that my old mic was actually still working, just that because I was skyping at that time, I thought it was spoilt.

So now I had spent almost 20 bucks on a new mic, which I do not need.

And the ear hooks are kinda uncomfortable too.

Damn.

Silly me.

Still trying to get started on my studies. I know I should be feeling the urgency but surprisingly I do not.

Might start on Sun because tmr there's CO concert + GE dinner.

Maybe I should get some work done tmr morning.
