Stay frosty...

Alright finally got around to writing a new post. These few days was kinda busy especially with all the CNY preparation. Well in like 10 hours or so all the relatives from my father side are gonna start pouring in. Bummer.

So I watched 'Percy Jackson and the lightning thief' yesterday. Was pretty hyped for it actually but in the end, I was a little disappointed. I mean it was okay..the graphics are good, the girls are cute but you know, it was just very Harry Potter-ish. Perhaps a tad too much.

Also the plot was rather predictable and for some reason it didnt really stick to the greek mythology much. For a start, Persephone was African-American. And Hades was British. Wow.
I know yall are saying 'It's just a kids movie and stuff' but yeah I guess these little details are just my pet peeves.

One more thing, the lead character, Percy, was shown holding his breath up to 7 minutes. You think being a demigod, son of Poseidon and all that, he woulda done better. Even David Blaine held his breath for 15min.

At least the movie didn't show him struggling. So maybe he could do it much longer.
And I meant holding his breath.

After the movie I had to go to Giant to meet my mom and sister who were doing last min CNY shopping and well, needed some muscle to help em.

So yeah I thought I was gonna take a long ride there but thanks to a friend of mine whose parents gave me a ride, I reached there without the hassle of waiting and taking a bus. Kudos to her parents for being such good folks.

The crowd in Giant was totally gigantic. *Ahem. I waited at the queue which is like 30m or so from the counter with the trolley with only 4 items in it. However, no worries as the rate at which the queue is going is like 1 meter every 5 min. Seriously. From what I heard people kept cutting queue. Some family almost cut my queue too until we told her she was actually in the wrong queue.

So yeah as I queued my mom and sis went to source for the groceries and stuff. By the time I was around 20m away, we were done with everything.

As for Saturday, I did nearly nothing except help with last min spring cleaning.

I realised my family did a lot of last min stuff. And I wonder where I get my procrastination habits from.

Lol.

Few days ago I was in the canteen talking to friends about how all the CNY food is gna make us fat. (Not that I'm not) And it was then I told myself to try my best and cut down on CNY goodies and stuff.

However, its now 4.16 am, CNY barely started and I'm munching down on Ruffles Potato Chips together with my favorite Tostitos Cheese Dip. All this coupled with a refreshing Bacardi Breezer Lime to flush it down.

I could see myself flunking the College Road Run. Goddamn it.

Aight anyways, I think I'd go watch my selection of movies. Think I'm gonna have a hard time choosing between The Hurt Locker, Sherlock Holmes, Daybreakers and The Lovely Bones.

Oh well maybe I'll watch all. Maybe I'll fall asleep halfway through the second or third movie.

Maybe I will get lucky somehow and not be alone for next year's Valentine's day.

Right.

Gotta stop dreaming.

Seeya guys,
Later.

In a world full of wrong, You are the only right.
